                     BLUE FLOWER

 

You will need:

Nail Polish for background colour.

Black & White Acrylic Paints.

Blue & Dark Blue Acrylic Paints.

Kolinsky Round Brush No 2.

Kolinsky Detail Brush.

Base Coat Nail Polish.

Top Coat Nail Polish.

Dotting tool.

 

Step one: Apply a base coat and two coats of colour of your choice.

 
  Step two: Deep you round brush No 2 into blue and dark blue paints and  draw petal shapes onto each nail. Let your imagination run free. 
  Step three: Using white acrylic paint and a detail brush, introduce a thin "edge" to each petal. From the middle of flowers introduce light  strokes towards the edges of petals using dark blue paint. 
  Step four: Fill the middle of the flowers with black colour. Introduce a few thin strokes around flowers using black paint. 
  Step five: Using your dotting tool add detail to the middle of your flowers. With detail brush "sharpen" black strokes adding white colour. 

 

 Step six: Add tiny black dotts  to the undecorated areas surrounding the flowers.

Allow the paint to dry completely before applying top coat.
